Family Reunion

The goal of Family Reunion is to gather our family groups and people interested in joining a family group, enjoy a meal together, and celebrate what God is doing in the life of our church. 

 

Many times throughout the Gospels we see Jesus sharing a meal with the disciples. From the Lord’s Supper to roasting fish on the beach, Jesus used the table as a way to commune with his followers, teach them more about himself, and to call them to a new way of living. As we gather around a table at Family Reunion we want to remind ourselves that though we meet in different areas of our community we are one church, called to celebrate, encourage, and do what Jesus calls us to do for our fellow brother and sister in Christ. We will weep with those who weep, and rejoice with those who are rejoicing. We will enjoy our whole family and seek to invite more people into the heart beat of our church.
