Our Story

The Branch Church originally started as a church plant in Gabe and Bre Dodd's living room in September 2014. As it began growing, the church started renting a back room at Lumpkin County Park & Rec and meeting on Sunday evenings. The Lord continued to bless and grow The Branch and in 2017, we moved out of the small back room into the gym, now filling bleachers and every chair available in the building.

In the fall of 2024, we celebrated 10 years as a church and also were blessed to purchase our own building in town, which originally was a steakhouse restaurant. Because of this, we refer to our building as "The Steakhouse." As we continue to rapidly grow, we are currently unable to gather there on Sunday mornings due to capacity limitations, however, it is still used weekly as our 'ministry house' to host our gatherings such as BCYA, BST, membership classes, men's and women's events, and youth meetings.
