About Family Groups...
During the week, we gather in groups at our church members' homes to share a meal and fellowship, read Scripture, and pray for one another. We call them 'Family Groups' because they resemble a family unit, combined with different people from various stages of life so we can learn from both those older and younger than us.
The goal of Family Groups is discipleship: to do everyday life together by loving and serving each other while drawing closer to Jesus. As Christians, we're called to "bear one another's burdens" (Galatians 6:2) and "stir up one another to love and good works...encouraging one another" (Hebrews 10:24-25), and these groups are how we stay connected and live that out. Group members encourage one another, pray for each other, and walk through life together.
